Capacity Growth

The air transportation market is growing fast. In Germany alone passenger volume is expected to increase by about 80 percent until the year 2015.

Fraport AG - the group managing Frankfurt Airport (FRA) - plans to meet the forecast demand by significantly developing capacities at FRA. Key projects include: expansion of the runway system and passenger facilities, construction of new maintenance facilities, and continuous development of all technical systems which provide for optimization of traffic flows.
