Fraport is firmly committed to maintaining the basis of life with a view to ensuring environmentally-friendly air travel compatible with the environment and fighting pollution.

Sustainability is one of three company objectives, all of which are of equal importance. All company actions are taken in conformity with the Kyoto Protocol as the expression of our social responsibility. We are concerned - not just with the climate - but, rather, with the maintenance of biodiversity as well: natural areas are maintained and promoted insofar as company parameters permit; in the event of serious intervention, compensation is paid and attempts are made to limit any environmental damage, often at great cost. The Fraport AG Environmental Fund is a major component of our promotion of biodiversity (only German version) (2,070 KB).
