Corporate Citizenship 2008

As a good neighbor, Fraport exercises corporate citizenship in the Rhine-Main region. Our initiatives are diverse and range from eco-sponsoring and fostering of art and culture, up to targeted support for youth sports.

For us it is all about generating sustainable social and economic benefits.

Under the motto "Aktiv für die Region" (www.aktivfuerdieregion.fraport.de) we engage in a range of educational, cultural and sports facilities, social projects and efforts to keep nature intact and preserve the appeal and capabilities of the Rhine-Main region. "ProRegion" and "Erich Becker" foundations

Both foundations are integral elements of Fraport AG's civic engagement.

The ProRegion Foundation was founded in 1999 to promote vocational training and employment projects of regional patrons, and supports the integration of young people into working life.

The Erich Becker Foundation is dedicated to promoting science and research and supports students and young scientists working on aviation-related topics within the context of dissertations, theses and doctorates at universities in Germany and abroad.
