What are RSS feeds?
RSS is a platform-independent, XML-based format that was developed to facilitate exchanging news and other Web content. The acronym RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". You can use an RSS feed to quickly and efficiently check websites for new information.
To read RSS feeds, you need an RSS reader. The reader monitors subscribed news feeds and reports any new items to you.
The reader provides you with headings and summaries of our latest content. To read the full versions at www.fraport.com, you then only need to click one of the included hyperlinks, which causes our website to be opened in your browser.
Many browsers, including Firefox and Opera, are able to directly process RSS feeds, so you don't need a separate reader.
How to subscribe to RSS feeds with an RSS reader
As soon as you have installed an RSS reader, you can start subscribing to Web feeds. Every feed has its own address, which resembles that of a website. You have to enter this address in your RSS reader. Feed addresses are easy to copy: just click the right mouse button and select Copy link. Then insert the address where appropriate with Ctrl+V. That's all it takes to subscribe to an RSS feed!
