FRA Development

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is one of the busiest air transportation hubs in Europe and Europe's number two airport for cargo.  Fraport – the owner and manager of FRA – is expanding capacities at FRA to meet the forecast increase in worldwide passenger demand. Key elements of expansion include: the construction of a new landing runway, a third passenger terminal and new maintenance facilities as well as the continuous development of all technical systems which provide for optimizing traffic flows. Frankfurt is one of the few airports in Europe that will develop into a mega hub and evolve into an airport city that sets new standards in quality and service.
