Delhi International Airport Private Limited (DIAL) is operated by 4 partners:
- Fraport owns 10 % stock and has – via a so-called operator contract with DIAL – certain airport-related consulting responsibilities with focus on modernization, expansion and operation of Delhi Airport.
- GMR Group, an experienced Indian infrastructure developer in the road and energy sectors, holds a 50.1 % stake in DIAL.
- Malaysian Airports Holding Berhad owns 10% via a subsidiary.
- India Development Fund with 3.9 % is the smallest shareholder and a leading Private-Equity-Fund in India.
- The remaining 26% of the shares are state-owned by the Airports Authority of India which, consequently, has a blocking minority.
