In February 2001, Fraport AG together with Bechtel Enterprise Int. Inc. and Cosapi S.A. took charge of the management and operation of the Jorge Chavez International Airport for the next 30 years (with an option to renew for another 10 years), a BOT (build, operate and transfer) project.
