Rapid handling in the apron area:
- Identification and segregation of cargo right after unloading aircraft
- Transport to and from the cooling center within fixed time limits
EU border inspections right at the PCF

- Inspection of incoming goods at the PCF by veterinary and plant protection services and EU quality monitoring
- One-stop service: complete fiscal processing, documentation, EU quality checks (port of first entry)
Europe's most advanced air cargo handling center for perishable goods can sort, pick & pack, and store in ideal conditions up to 200,000 metric tons of fresh produce annually. The over 9000 m² Perishable Center Frankfurt provides top-quality 24-hour "keep-fresh" service all year round, with 18 different climate zones geared to different product groups. Our computer-controlled temperatures can be set to between -24°C and +24°C.
