This wholly owned Fraport subsidiary is responsible for developing and marketing the Mönchhof premises, which comprise about 106 hectares. This area is to be utilized for logistics, offices and retail outlets. Owing to its proximity to the airport, its direct access to motorways and the B 43 highway, and its attractive location right on the Main River, it is regarded as the jewel among the region's still-undeveloped commercially zoned land. In addition to owning the Mönchhof area via additional subsidiaries, Fraport Immobilienservice und -entwicklungs GmbH & Co. KG (Fraport Immo for short) has two buildings right at the airport. Fraport Immo has also entered into a joint venture with other partners to develop and market the Gateway Gardens area directly adjoining the airport. This area covers about 35 hectares and will also be put to commercial use.
In addition to providing other real estate services, Fraport Immo was responsible for the relocation of the Rhine Main Air Base to Ramstein and Spangdahlem.
Fraport holds a 100-percent share in the company.
