Airport Cater Service GmbH (ACS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fraport AG. The business purpose of ACS is the operation of catering facilities for employees at Frankfurt Airport. The company provides it services with skilled catering personnel plus the necessary number of helpers. Advanced vocational training for the work force is available through both internal and external training programs.
Currently ACS operates six canteens, with a total seating capacity of 1,900 people. Furthermore, it operates two catering trucks to ensure mobile catering to remote airport areas at certain times of the day. The company also provides catering for a wide range of internal corporate events and supplies representation material for individual Fraport departments.
The wide range of food and drinks offered as well as the daily choice of custom menu components - which repeat every 13 weeks – ensure that every customer finds the food he wants. In addition, the canteens offer special culinary theme weeks at regular intervals.
ACS operates under DIN ISO 9001:2000 certified quality management to ensure hygienic and quality standards. Twice a year the canteens are subject to a hygienic audit by and independent health institute.Fraport holds a 100-percent share in the company.
