We are the largest independent cargo handler at Frankfurt Airport, offering a full complement of full-service packages for complete handling of air cargo shipments, also including processing of the associated documents. Our over 630 excellently trained staff handle more than 340,000 metric tons of air cargo a year, and our customer roster includes about 60 airlines.
The state-of-the-art cargo terminal comprising 47,000 square meters of floorspace has direct access to the apron area, which ensures fast, reliable handling. All handling areas conform to the latest safety standards of the TSA/FAA and are monitored by about 240 video cameras.
We are authorized to handle and store all classes of dangerous goods. Our storage facility for dangerous goods comprises 2,000 square meters and has sufficient capacity for 200 metric tons. Specialists whose expertise is kept up to date by regular refresher courses check and monitor dangerous goods in compliance with international regulations. Special depots are also available for radioactive shipments.
Our open customs warehouse lets companies store goods that have not cleared customs with us indefinitely. It makes especially good sense to transfer goods there if their definitive status is still unknown when they arrive. We also take care of product picking, sorting and quality checks in our open customs warehouse without incurring any customs charges.
Our sophisticated picking and deconsolidation service saves forwarders several hours of handling time: we assign special teams to handle imported cargo right after landing on a priority basis. We take care of deconsolidation and resorting according to a list of recipients. We also pick and pack goods for export as specified.
Our handling hall for express and messenger shipments in CargoCity North, with 1,200 square meters of space, also has direct access to the apron area. The cargo terminal is designed for fast flows and maximum handling times of 60 minutes.
