Insolvency Offenses

Criminal offenses in connection with the initiation or conduct of insolvency proceedings (§§283-283d of the Penal Code [StGB]). The purpose of the criminal law provisions is partly to protect creditors against malicious or negligent debtors, and partly to enable the orderly conduct of insolvency proceedings.
