Flexible work time models
Jobs and work play a major role in life. However, private issues and personal interests are as important to the individual. Fraport needs to take this into consideration when designing workplaces. We have resolved to support our employees and workers in linking their jobs and their private lives – for example, through flexible work time models.
Part-time work is one of the opportunities to enjoy more private life next to work. Fraport uses a range of different part-time models. Individual options are linked with company requirements so that an appropriate and satisfactory solution is achieved for both. Part-time work is not only an offer for people working flextime but can also be made use of if working shifts or rotating shifts.
Flextime regulations naturally open up a host of opportunities with regard to the compatibility of job and private life. In particular, it enables a rapid and unproblematic reaction to exceptional situations. However, for organizational reasons, flextime is simply not possible in all areas. But, where it is indispensable that people work in shifts or rotating shifts at Fraport, we try to render working times more flexible, if operations allow for this.
