School Kids

We offer short-term basic training programs for students in three different fields of occupation:

  • Commercial occupations (accounting, administration, general office work)
  • Industrial/technical occupations (metal working, vehicle mechanics, maintenance)
  • Information technology
  • Ground Services and Terminal Management

Each year, we provide approx. 300 internship assignments for school students. Because our capacity is limited, we can consider only applicants from schools that require a mandatory internship. As a well-known employer in the region, we have a very high influx of applications. We recommend applying at least nine months before the desired start of the internship to increase the chances of being accepted.

Specialized secondary school internships

Please note that we have already exhausted our 2008 admission quota for internships within the framework of specialized secondary schools. We will not begin accepting applications for the 2009 school year until  Nov. 1, 2008.

Application procedure

To apply for an internship, please use our online application form. This is less costly for you and saves us a great deal of work. Please attach the following documents to your application:

  • Cover letter
  • Tabular resume
  • Copies of your last two report cards
  • Certification by the school that the internship is mandatory

In order to do so, you will have to scan the relevant documents or photograph them using a digital camera. In this connection, please note that you can only attach documents that have been saved in gif, jpg or pdf format.

Remuneration:
Students participating in a short-term basic vocational training do not receive any remuneration.
