FRA/rap> Fraport AG, the owner and manager of Frankfurt Airport City (FRA), and its retail partners in Terminals 1 and 2 have launched this year's Christmas shopping promotion under the theme Celebrating Christmas Classics – which includes a contest to win a vintage 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220 S convertible. The lucky winner of this sleek classic automobile with the famous shining star on its radiator will be announced in January 2007. The Celebrating Christmas Classics promotion was launched on November 1 in tandem with the festive decorating of FRA's shopping and other terminal areas. The feature attraction is the displaying of four classic German automobiles throughout the terminals: the 1954 Mercedes Benz 170 SB limousine, the 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL roadster, the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220 S convertible – perhaps yours to win – and the 1938 BMW 327 sports car. Three of these cars are on display in Terminal 1, in Check-In Hall A and near the Travel Value & Duty Free shops in Transit A and Transit B-East, and the other one is located in Check-in Hall D of Terminal 2. In addition to the contest and classics car display, numerous Christmas shopping specials are being offered at FRA. Look for sparkling diamond necklaces at the René Kern and Christ jewellery boutiques. The brand new Rollei digital picture frame, which had its world premier at the recent Photokina trade fair in Germany, is available at FRA's Fotec and Photair shops These and other special offers, along with the contest coupon, are featured in Fraport's new Christmas shopping flyer -- valid from November 1 to December 31. Passengers and visitors at FRA can get a copy of the flyer in shops and other locations throughout the terminals.
