Due to the changed handling procedure in the Non-Schengen area in Terminal 2 we would like to focus your attention on the purchase of liquids in the duty-free stores:
The same regulations for liquids in carry-on baggage apply at all European airports. Duty-free items which are purchased in non-public areas (after check of the boarding card) on the day of a flight, may be taken through the security checkpoint in front of the gate. These items must be inside a transparent and sealed bag (sales personnel in the duty free stores will provide bag and seal it). The bag must have the legible sales slip attached that shows date and location of purchase.
Liquids purchased in duty-free stores in the European Union were already previously checked according to EU regulations. This check ensures that the liquids are not dangerous. Consequently, changing planes at other European airports is not a problem with liquids in carry-on baggage. The same applies for duty-free items which are purchased onboard an aircraft of an EU airline. The bag must remain sealed until reaching the final destination.
