The new Shopping Boulevard in Frankfurt Airport's Terminal 1 stands out with its elegant ambiance - it's a shopping strip for those with up-market expectations. On total sales space of 1,240 square meters, this is apparent both in the retail mix and in the architecture. Posh dark-wood flooring alternates with grey granite, and daylight floods in through a glass roof dome in the middle of the Shopping Boulevard. This creates a bright, friendly atmosphere to which people are powerfully drawn.
