Corporate Values and Policies
In agreement with a responsible management approach, we are committed to upholding the principles of internationally recognized standards of behavior – the principles of the UN Global Compact, the OECD Guidelines and the core labor standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO) In order to integrate them even further into the company, Fraport has adopted two Codes of Conduct: One for our employees and one for our suppliers. The umbrella for these voluntary commitments is Fraport’s Policy. This Policy outlines the values-based fundaments for our corporate actions.
"We are convinced that sustainable business activity is the key prerequisite for our company’s ability to meet future challenges and for our claim to a position of leadership in the industry. In its role as an international provider of high-quality airport services, Fraport AG continuously works to optimize processes, products, and services with an eye to our employees, customers, owners, the environment, and society while developing responses to future challenges at an early stage. This enhances the company’s value in the long term, which benefits our employees* and stakeholders and serves to express the increasingly sustainable alignment of our business activities. Everything we do each and every day is based on the Fraport basic values of honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, responsibility, transparency, loyalty, and fairness.
We are also committed to upholding the principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and fighting corruption. We are also guided by the core labor standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the conventions of the United Nations, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises."
Along with the introduction of the Employee Code of Conduct in February 2013, Fraport AG expanded the concept that hitherto had been mainly dealing with matters of corruption, by additional codes of behavior derived from the principles of the UN Global Compact. You may download Fraport’s Group-wide Code of Conduct here.
Fraport is committed to consolidating a comprehensive understanding of sustainability in the entire value-added chain. In order to give its suppliers clear guidelines in terms of behavior, Fraport published a Supplier Code of Conduct in February 2013.
Already in 2009 we signed the Code of Conduct of Europe’s largest purchasers‘ association, the Federal Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (AMMPL). For further details please click here.
Suppliers may find additional information, such as current tenders, electronic invoicing details and airport fees, in the Section Business Services via this link.
Fraport respects the cultural, ethical, social, political and legal diversity of all nations and communities. In the framework of Diversity Management we make the individuality of our workforce an integral part of our human resources strategy and organizational development. The human rights aspects being of paramount importance, we have included this subject in our Group-wide Codes of Conducts for Employees and Suppliers.
