Airmail Center Frankfurt (ACF) is a joint venture between Fraport AG, Lufthansa Cargo AG (LCAG) and Deutsche Post AG. Fraport and Lufthansa Cargo each hold a 40 percent share, Deutsche Post a 20 percent share in the company. Airmail Center handles up to 400 tonnes of international and military mail daily at Frankfurt and Munich Airports. Letters, packages and parcels in boxes and bags are distributed to flights heading for around 300 destinations all over the world every day using a high-performance sorter.
The central location at Frankfurt Airport between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and the proximity to Deutsche Post’s International Postal Center (IPZ) ensure a fast and faultless transfer between Deutsche Post AG and the international airlines. A process-optimized allocation of functions provides for short distances for the mail distribution and logistics.
