Fraport holds 100% of Fraport Slovenija since March 19, 2015. Fraport Slovenija manages the entire airport. Ljubljana Airport is the biggest airport serving the capital Ljubljana, and is the international gateway to Slovenia.

Ljubljana Airport is located 26 km North of Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia and political and economic heart of Slovenia. Ljubljana is home to approximately 0.3 million inhabitants whereas entire Slovenia accounts for around 2.1 million inhabitants.
