Driving authorizations: Our courses

We offer training for all driving authorizations that are required for undertaking operational activities at Frankfurt Airport.

Introduction of recurrent training for all holders of a driving authorization (apron)

To comply with the EASA regulation EU 139/2014, all holders of a driving authorization (apron) must undertake recurrent training every 24 months, which is subject to a fee.

From the first quarter of 2023, Fraport will offer an e-learning course to all holders of a driving authorization (the course is a web-based application in German and English, with access information via a PIN letter). If the recurrent training is not completed in time, the “apron driver's license” qualification is revoked immediately in line with the regulation.
