The Medical Center at Frankfurt Airport offers comprehensive consultation and testing options for passengers, airport employees, the general public and companies.

Questions on quarantine or self-isolation regulations must be addressed to the responsible government agencies, such as the local Health Departments and/or the German Federal Police.  This is particularly true for the specific question as to whether a person with a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result (following a nose/throat swab) may be exempted from possible quarantine or other measures.

Since the early 2000s, AEDs (automated external defibrillator) have been installed in terminals in such a way that they can be reached from any point within a very short time.

In the fight against sudden cardiac death in particular, every minute counts. The main cause of this is ventricular fibrillation, which can be treated in many cases with the use of a defibrillator. The electrical impulses emitted by the defibrillator can make the heart beat in its correct rhythm again.

AED devices have been developed so that anyone can use them – even without medical expertise.  In recent years, this has saved many lives.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank every first-aider using an AED!
