OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE, PREVENTION AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT

The health of our employees is crucial to the success of our company and the airport. The Occupational Medicine, Prevention, and Health Management unit is responsible for all employee healthcare and for maintaining their ability to work. The activities of the unit encompass everything from preventing work-related illnesses to health promotion and addressing challenges relating to demographic change.

Our goals:

Maintaining health  | Identifying illnesses early Promoting fitness for work

An experienced team of doctors and medical professionals applies their airport-specific expertise in occupational medicine to handle all kinds of medical-related issues, provide advice, and establish behavioral and structural preventive measures.

Our team consists entirely of qualified occupational medicine specialists, with individual members also holding qualifications in general practice, internal medicine, urology, diving medicine, travel medicine, traffic medicine, emergency medicine, and palliative medicine.

As part of its care, the Occupational Medicine unit offers services pursuant to Section 3 of the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASiG), as well as fitness and aptitude tests, e.g., for compliance with driving license or fire department regulations.

The Health Management team oversees health promotion structures and services for all employees in the Fraport Group. The team, which has won multiple awards, carries out a wide range of health promotion campaigns and activities.

The Health Management team focuses mainly on developing, implementing, and monitoring targeted measures for specific groups to boost overall health and enhance employee well-being.

Our prevention services support well-being, healthcare, and the job satisfaction of employees. By using targeted preventive measures, we create awareness of healthcare issues and improve health literacy.

Experienced experts provide in-person or online seminars on the following subject areas:
