Fraport AG to Resume Dividend Payments

Dividend of €1.00 per share proposed for the 2025 financial year – AGM to decide on profit distribution on May 12, 2026

At its meeting today, December 12, Fraport AG’s Supervisory Board approved the company’s business plan for the 2026 financial year, including the proposal to pay a dividend for the 2025 financial year. This decision was based on the Group’s solid operational performance – both at its Frankfurt Airport home base and across its worldwide subsidiaries – and is supported by a sustainably positive outlook for the coming years. While the completion of major investments in large-scale expansion projects, particularly in Lima and Frankfurt, and the inauguration of new passenger terminals at both locations will initially lead to a significant decrease in net income in 2026, the Group’s free cash flow is returning to positive territory. This development provides the globally active airport company with the necessary scope to resume dividend payments and subsequently reduce debt.

Fraport CEO Dr. Stefan Schulte stated: “I am delighted that at our 2026 AGM, we will once again be able to propose a dividend payment to our shareholders for the 2025 financial year. Following six years of non-payment due to the coronavirus pandemic and large-scale investments, the resumption of dividend payments is an important milestone for the future – as is the upcoming inauguration of Frankfurt Airport’s new Terminal 3, scheduled for April 22 next year.”

In line with established procedures, the next step is for the Executive and Supervisory Boards to propose the planned profit distribution of €1.00 per share to Fraport’s ordinary AGM, scheduled for May 12, 2026. Over the long term, the company aims to resume its policy of distributing between 40 and 60 percent of profits to shareholders each year. However, for the next few years, the priority will remain on debt reduction.
