Frankfurt Airport 2026 Summer Schedule: 88 Airlines Serving 283 Destinations in 92 Countries

Additional destinations in Europe and worldwide – Centrum Air and Qanot Sharq of Uzbekistan launching services from FRA

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is strengthening its position as Germany’s gateway to the world with its summer flight schedule, which goes into effect on March 29, coinciding with the switch to daylight saving time. 88 airlines will operate flights to 283 destinations in 92 countries.* There will be more than 1,000 intercontinental connections a week, underscoring the airport’s role as a major international aviation hub. With over 4,700 flights a week, the total number of available seats will rise to about 871,000 – up by about six percent from last year.** The schedule will remain in effect until October 24, 2026.

This summer, passengers can fly from Frankfurt to additional destinations in Northern Europe. Starting on May 1, Lufthansa (LH) will offer four weekly flights to Trondheim (TRD) in Norway, while its leisure subsidiary, Discover Airlines (4Y), will operate two flights a week to Bodø (BOO), Norway’s gateway to the Arctic, from late May onward. Discover Airlines will also offer up to two flights per week to Shannon (SNN) in Ireland starting in late April, a route that Lufthansa had served until the summer of 2019. In Southern Europe, Discover Airlines is resuming twice-weekly flights to the Italian port city of Brindisi (BDS) on June 5. In Eastern Europe, Lufthansa will once again operate twice-daily flights to the Polish city of Rzeszów (RZE) while the summer schedule is in force.

Condor (DE), Germany’s second-largest airline, is expanding its network of feeder routes at the start of the summer season to include London Gatwick (LGW), which serves the British capital. In May, this network will be expanded further by the addition of Barcelona (BCN), Venice (VCE) and Budapest (BUD), each of which is served by three daily flights, bringing the total number of feeder destinations to 13. Danish Air Transport (DAT) will operate up to three daily flights between Frankfurt and Linz (LNZ), Austria’s third-largest city, beginning with the start of the summer season.

Where intercontinental flights are concerned, Discover Airlines will, for the first time, extend its twice-weekly service to the Seychelles (SEZ) into the summer season. In mid-June, Condor will resume its daily flight to Tbilisi (TBS), the capital of Georgia, which it had previously operated until October 2023. Throughout the summer, Condor will also continue offering the twice-weekly service to Haikou (HAK) in China that it launched in February. Haikou (HAK) has now become the second city in China’s Hainan province – after Sanya (SYX) – that can be reached directly from FRA, with a stopover in Bangkok (BKK).

TUIfly (X3) will continue operating its service to the popular Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh (SSH), which it resumed this past winter, with up to two flights a week. Two new carriers – Centrum Air (C6) and Qanot Sharq (HH) – are joining Uzbekistan Airways (HY) on the route to Tashkent (TAS), each offering two weekly services.

* Note to editors: The offered flights may be adjusted during the course of the 2026 summer season.
** The basis for comparison is the definitive flight schedule at the end of the 2025 summer season (as of October 24, 2025).
