The internationally recognized FTC offers comprehensive services in the areas of training, fire protection consulting, aircraft recovery and the paramedic school. Eleven specialist trainers and experts provide qualified training for employees of the Airport Fire Department.

In emergency situations, every second counts. At a busy air traffic hub like Frankfurt Airport, the Airport Fire Department and its specialized Aircraft Recovery Team ensure rapid and secure aircraft recovery so that runways can be quickly returned to use.

The Frankfurt Airport Fire Department’s fire and rescue vehicles and specialist units

The Frankfurt Airport Fire Department has 90 fire and rescue vehicles and 70 roll-off containers. With 32 permanently staffed vehicles, we can reach anywhere on the apron or airfield in three minutes.
